               Todos os dias penso para mim mesma: Hoje é um novo dia, coisas boas vão chegar.

               CamScanner: excelente para digitalizar qualquer coisa em qualquer sitio.

               Pixlr Express: excelente editor rápido de imagem para as minhas maquilhagens e unhas para depois por no instagram.

               Out of Milk: É uma lista de compras digital. É super útil para mim que me esqueço sempre de alguma coisa.

               Viber: Não vivo sem este chat gratuito que ainda me permite telefonar a quem quiser de graça (desde que também tenha essa app).

Publicação FAIL de um vídeo

Ontem reaprendi que devemos SEMPRE confirmar se está tudo bem com o que publicamos...
Por preguiça de acreditar que tinha corrido tudo como de costume quando alterei imensas coisas no processo de edição, ao ver o vídeo já publicado (não me perguntem o porquê, mas faço sempre isso mal o vídeo é publicado), qual o meu espanto ao ver que faltavam animações e outras coisas no vídeo... Já estava publicado...Online! Sorte a minha, que como os meus inscritos/subscritores não são lá muito activos, a única visualização que o vídeo tinha era minha, então apaguei o vídeo o mais rápido que pude, e re-editei-o... E como uma versão estava mal, óbvio que a outra versão também estava, ou seja a edição levou mais tempo, e o vídeo saiu mais tarde...
Mas antes tarde e bem, do que a horas e mal...(como aconteceu...)
Que me sirva de lição!

Dias assim....

Dias como o de hoje, em que vejo o que tenho para fazer até ao final do mês, o que precisa de ser feito, mas o meu corpo não me deixa...
Preciso gravar e editar vídeos, arranjar um trabalho novo (porque o presente, mal saia da baixa é garantido que sou despedida) ou conseguir mais clientes rápidamente (não faço ideia como), fazer exercício para exterminar 15kg... E qualquer esforço que faça, seja estar em frente a uma camera alguns 40min a 1h30 a filmar, ou mais de 4h a editar no PC, ou simplesmente fazer uma caminhada de 10-15min, e o idiota do meu braço dói-me como se estivesse a ser cortado...
Não consigo perceber o que se passa, o médico anda a empatar-me desde que comecei a lá ir, manda-me fazer exames em que todos dão resultados inconclusivos ou então onde o técnico do exame é um incompetente que me manda para casa com umas marteladas no braço e sem fazer o exame marcado (aqui tudo é dinheiro...e óbvio que tinha que me calhar os carniceiros que só querem o dinheiro a entrar no bolso mas procurar o problema para me curar é que tá quieto), e o endireita ficou burro quando soube que eu ando assim há já 3 meses... Julgo que com o endireita isto irá ao sítio. É preciso é ter coragem para lá voltar, pois nunca a cura me doeu tanto...
Mas se quero voltar a trabalhar tenho que lá voltar até ficar boa... ele disse-me 10 dias... não fosse pelo pavor das dores ia já hoje (4 dias depois da primeira malha de pancada). Vou aguardar mais uns 4-5 dias e volto então para dar continuidade ao "concerto da máquina".

Hoje mais uma consulta no médico, mais umas centenas de francos para o bolso dele, para ele olhar para mim, apalpar o meu braço, ouvir-me a dizer "au" e ver-me a contorcer, preencher uns papeis, e dizer que isto leva o seu tempo...

Não sei o que sinto neste momento, se raiva desta gente, se angústia de pensar como vai ser a minha vida...
Quem sabe me sai a sorte grande? É hoje que me sai o Euromilhões! O meu canal de YouTube explode e começo a viver disto! Fico com a agenda cheia de clientes ao ponto de ter que recusar novas marcações!

Hoje foi dia de.... Today was a day of...

...Pasmaceira total... Bem. Não completamente... De manhã gravei dois vídeos, e ainda editei um pouco do vídeo de 4ª feira que vem.
O dia está estranho, um pouco tipo...assombrado quase.
Passei o dia em frente ao PC, entre edição de vídeo, organização de ficheiros electrónicos, e cuscar as redes sociais.
Ainda tenho a loiça do almoço por lavar e arrumar, e a casa por aspirar. Hoje foi um dia de procrastinar de uma maneira produtiva... (Trabalhei um pouco, mas sentada em frente ao PC ou em frente da camera.)
Amanhã volto com coisas mais interessantes ;)

Not doing a damn thing... Well. Not completely... This morning I filmed two videos, and I got to edit a bit of the upcoming Thursday's video.
Today the weather's weird, almost like...spooky.
I spent most of my day in front of the PC, between video editing, organizing my e-files, and lurking on the social networks.
I still got the lunch dishes to do, and I still haven't vaccumed the house. Today was a day of procrastination in a productive way... (I worked a little, but either in front of my PC or my camera.)
I'll be back tomorrow with more interesting things.

Como definir preços dos vossos serviços de Unhas e Maquilhagem

Olá meus doces!!!

Ontem fiz um video para as meninas e meninos que estão a começar a trabalhar na área de maquilhagem e unhas, e têm dúvidas sobre como definir os preços a cobrar pelos serviços que vão prestar.

É uma situação em que já me encontrei, e por isso respondo às coisas mais básicas e importantes a ter em conta no momento de fazer a tabela de preços.

Se tiverem mais dúvidas não hesitem em colocá-las ou aqui ou no vídeo, e eu irei responder mal possa, ou se as perguntas forem muitas, junto-as para um vídeo.

Desafios, Room Tour e Unhas de Outono!!

Olá meus Amores!!!

Hoje o dia foi repleto! Tenho um video room tour e colecção de maquilhagem e unhas para vocês no meu canal!!! Frequíssimo!!!

E hoje saiu também um vídeo que fiz para o canal da comunidade da qual faço parte que é a comunidade Kandesa, que convido a visitarem e subscreverem! E portanto, fiz um vídeo de unhas de outono/inverno :) Muito giras e fofas, mas dentro de um estilo...vá, clássico. ;)

E para finalizar o dia cumpri um desafio que foi lançado pela Verónica Figueiredo, que foi recriar um look da @indefinitemua. E eu, apesar de o desafio não ser directamente para mim, aceitei-o na hora, e este foi o resultado!

Foi uma loucura fazê-lo! Super divertido! Adorei mesmo! Caso queiram vê-lo em tutorial digam-me ;)
Estou a planear fazer umas unhas para condizer com esta maquilhagem, o que acham?

Novidades - News

Olá a todas(os)!!!

Primeiro de tudo, peço desculpa pela minha ausência neste blog...
A minha vida tem sido um turbilhão desde que comecei a trabalhar no SPA que referi no post anterior.
Infelizmente as coisas pareciam boas demais para ser verdade.... E foi preciso eu adoecer e ficar no hospital, e sair de lá com outro problema para ver isso. Óbvio que nenhum patrão gosta de ter os seus empregados de baixa por tempo indefinido, né? Mas não vai tentar arranjar caos (e no meu caso, há caos)... Eu ainda antes de ficar doente já tinha visto e passado por coisas que me fizeram perceber que eu não pertencia ali (e as minha colegas faziam questão de me fazer sentir isso). Mas então no que se referia a principios morais de trabalho...isso é que me dava a volta... porque ali não existe isso... Elas olham para as clientes como se fossem bilhetes de lotaria premiados... E eu odeio isso! Não falam com as clientes, nem tentam sequer criar um laço com elas.. E pior é que há situações referentes a higiene ali que me faz questionar como raio é que aquele sitio está aberto!

À parte disso e de outras coisas que nem vale a pena mencionar (pelo menos enquanto não resolver isto tudo), devido ao problema que me causaram no hospital, estou em casa, com um braço (o dito problema) que não aguenta esforços nenhuns sem que me cause dores. E lá vou fazendo um ou outro video sempre que consigo. Óbvio que apesar do tempo que tenho, nem sempre o meu corpo está no seu melhor para me permitir gravar e editar os meus videos. E por isso vos peço desculpas :(

Por hoje o post fica por aqui, já que só vos queria deixar um pouco mais a par do que se anda a passar.
E em principio a partir de hoje, vou começar a usar o blog como era suposto inicialmente: para colocar fotos e listas dos produtos usados em cada video. Até lá espero que tenham paciência comigo <3

Hey everyone!!!

First of all, I'm so sorry for my absence in here...
My life has been a true hurricane ever since I started working at the SPA I told you about on the previous post.
Unfortunately, things seemed too good to be true... And I needed to fall ill and get hospitalized, and then leaving there with another problem to see that. Obviously, there's not boss in the world that likes to have his/her employers on medical leave for an undetermined time, right? But the boss will not try to cause chaos (and in my case, there's chaos). Even before I got sick I had already seen and felt that I didn't belong there (and my co-workers made sure I felt that way). But when it came to moral and work principles...now that turned my insides...because that does not exist there. They look at clients as if they're winning lottery tickets... And I hate that. They don't talk to the client, nor create some kind of bond... nothing! And there are stuff, regarding hygiene in there makes me wonder how is it possible that that place got to open in the first place.

Asides from that and other this that are not worth referring (at least not while I haven't solved everything), due to the problem that the hospital caused upon me, I'm at home, with an arm (the said problem) that cannot support any kind of effort (strenght, movements, holding objects) without causing me pain. I keep on doing a video every once in a while, if my arm allows me to. But obviously, even though I've got plenty of time, my body (arm specifically) is not always on it's best to allow me to film and edit my videos. And for that I'm am very sorry everyone.

And the post will end here today, since I only wanted to keep you up to date on what's going on.
Hopefully in the future I will be using this blog for it's inicial purpose, wich was to post fotos and lists of the products I use on my videos. Until then, please be patient with me. <3

(ღ˘⌣˘ღ) Got a job at a SPA & About my YouTube Videos

First of all... YAY for me for getting a job at a SPA!!! Weeeeeeee!!!!! *runs around jumping and laughing of happiness*

So yeah! I got a job literally out of nowhere! Started a few days ago, and I'm super happy about it! It's what I wanted to do, it's my area, and I'm doing what I love. It's a great place, really well situated in the center of the city, with awesome people working there, and the owner is the sweetest and kindes person you'll find! Very understanding and someone with LOADS of good Karma for sure!!! She helps everyone that wants to work for her! It's really great! And I can't thank her enough for the opportunity she gave me!!!
I'm really soooooooooooooooo excited!!! I'm finally feeling that my life is starting to come along and getting better each day!
I can finally lay my projects on the table and start lining up what to do next! WEEEEEEEE!

Anyhow! Regarding my YouTube videos! Before I got the job (or even known that I would get a job at all) I decided that I would have my videos up every wednesdays and fridays. So hopefully with a full time job I'll still be able to keep up with the schedule I made, with new videos every wednesdays and fridays. So cheer on me!

HI SUGARCUBES!!!!!

Yay! Lol, ok, calm down.
So today will be another rambling post, as usual, since it's mostly what I use this blog for... And I wanted to ask you guys what you tought of the lighting of my last video on youtube (the argyle nails). Dows it look better? Brighter? I used new lamps (cool daylight or so they said) for that video, and I've also used them for the next upcoming video, that will be a makeup one. I also recently got a new microphone (my sweet boyfriend gave it to me), and I've just used it for the upcoming makeup tutorial, so I hope it sounds better than the last one (I'll be waiting for your response on that everyone!).

Also, I've finally got the hang of After Effects, so now I work well enough with it to play a little more with editing my intros and such. Do you have any suggestions? (♥ω♥ ) ~♪

So anyways!
I'll leave you here my latest tutorial! And I'll wait for your suggestions and opinions on the lighting and editing of the video (constructive criticism please!!!)

New makeup tutorial

Hey guys!!!

Here's my latest makeup tutorial, made specifically for Valentine's Day.

This baby here took me a lot longer to edit for quite an amount of reasons... One of the main reasons being that I wanted to create an intro similar to a Youtube Guru (Wengie), that does the most adorable beauty videos, and she inspired me to do intros like that, and also an animated logo for myself. So thanks to that I got in a whole bunch of a work.
Then the problems with filming an editing started... the first time I recorded it, the files got corrupted while editing... Second time, I decided I should go for a green screen background, but the lighting and the camera didn't work so well, and the green turned yellow-ish, and so did my skin, so when I edited it the program could not differenciate the green background from my skin, and so parts of my skin would turn into the masked background... Meh, it's shucks I know.
Then the third time I recorded the same tutorial I tried a better green screen, new placing and better lighting... Still, no good came out of it...and all the yellowing happened again. I was about to give up seriously..
I finally got the strenght back up on the next day to film it again. I gave up on the green screen, and simply focused on making good use of a blank white wall, natural lighting that I had that day (here it's very rare to have a sunny day like that) and good artificial lighting that I had around the house (still needs some tweaks but I'll get there soon hopefully - looks wishfully at the previous blog post). And I got it filmed. It wasn't perfect due to the fact that the camera doesn't have the best auto-focus in the world, so most of the close-up footage is blurry... But it was manageable/acceptable to work with.
Then I got the HELL-of-a-pain-in-the-ass-work of editing the video, creating the effects, intro and logo on After Effects while working on Premiere at the same time... Phew, that was a huge headache for me... I never did something like that on AE... Hell! All I ever did on AE was a simple text with falling flowers with pre-done effects... So this was not only hard work, but hours of research of good AE tutorials, and a bunch of failures... BUT I did it!!! I did it ALL by myself! I didn't use a template, nor a loop background resource! Damn I'm proud of myself or what?!?!? Lol. I think you can even notice in my voice over (if you compare to the other videos I did) that my voice is more... bubbly? lol.

SOOOoooooooooooooooooooo....!

So this time I'm comming here just to ramble about two things that I REALLY want to have right now...
First I'll explain the reason, then I'll say what I want! ლ(⌒▽⌒ლ)

So I've been trying to invest more time and learning new skills for my videos on YouTube lately, meaning I realized I don't have a good background and lighting nor a good camera...
The background is too distracting because there are too many things there (yeah I could clean it up if I had a bigger house to do so... unfortuantely I don't), and the lighting is too yellowing and weak... Not to mention the camera, that not matter what I do is always changing my skin color. And it's automatic white balance option is even worse than any other option it has... {{p´Д｀q}}

So, what I'm saying is, I found a nice kit of studio lighting here ->

And I'm here wishing really hard that someone kind enough will help me achieve these two babies ∪･ω･∪

My last days

So besides uploading my last tutorial, I've been searching for tutorials myself... And not makeup tutorials. After Effects and Premiere tutorials... Very speciffic ones to help me improve my videos and my intros (that I must admit, are pretty lame).
It's very tyring, and somehow upsetting/frustrating. I'm one of those kind of persons that wants to know how to do things in the exact instant I started learning... It's not that I wanna be a pro immediatly, but I want to see immediate results from just one try... Meaning, no failure. I'm one of those people that is quite affraid of failure. I mean, no one likes failure, but not everyone fears it I guess... right?

Anyways, I've been literally wasting my time searching for good After Effects video tutorials, that's been my life these past days...
I've filmed two tutorials, and I haven't started editing them because of that...

So bare with me, pretty please, because it may take a while.

Here!!! A new Nail Art Tutorial (★‿‿★ *)

It's been.... over 3 months I think?, since I last uploaded an actual tutorial... So sorry you all!!!

I'm still without my HD camera charger, and the other one I have, although it manages, it's not as great........ °(ಗдಗ。)°.
Meaning, recording with it will be mostly for reviews and vlogs (if you watch my latest review, you'll understand why).

It's not that it's bad quality or something... It's just that it ain't that great for close ups, and I can't see what I'm filming because I don't have a monitor facing me, like the other has... °(ಗдಗ。)°. I want my chargerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

Blah-blah-blah

Hey everyone!

Today I will just be splurring out some random stuff, because I'm bored, unemployed, and have been spending way too much time alone at home, because I'm in a country where I don't know anyone, I barely speak the main language (French), and I'm just depressed because getting a job here isn't as easy as I thought at first...

So today my day has started as normal as usual... get up at 10a.m. (yeah I'm not exactly an early morning person), fed my cat, got my breakfast, and have been in front of my PC cleaning my Facebook and YouTube... What I mean with cleaning is that I'm just simply and plainly removing people I don't know at all (from my FB), remove the "like" (FB) from pages that I don't even know WHY I liked it in the first place...and unsubscribe channels that do not interest me anymore...
I know for some this may sound a lot of work, and to other it can be disrespectful to the people that I'm unsubscribing,"unfriend" on facebook, and dislike the pages. But seriously... Why should I have my feed stuck up with stuff I don't want to see? I've been getting my feed (both in FB and YT) with more than 80% of stuff that do not interest me at all... And the stuff that interest me sometimes doesn't come up in the feed because of the rest that is in there (I seriously do not understand what FB and YT have done to make this happen, but a lot of pages in FB and Gurus in YT say that most of their subscribers (around 90-95%) receive the notification of their uploads... Which is a huge bum... I mean... We subscribe and like because we like that channel, so why did FB and YT decide that only 5% of the subscribers will get the news while the rest get to stay in the dark, waiting for the new uploads???? It's a huge mess these two (FB and YT) have cause here... I find myself being one of the 90-95% of people that do not get every new upload when it's uploaded in some channels and pages... I fnd myself in the obligation of GOING to the channel/page just to see if there's something new...
And another thing about Youtube, and this I don't know if it's happening to everyone or not, is that when I go to someone's channel (no matter who it is, because it's the majority of the +100 channels that I'm following) only SOME of their uploads will be there... For example, the other day I was searching for a speciffic video of a Guru, that I KNEW she would still have it, because it was the BEST video she produced so far, and I could no find it on her channel!!! But if I made the search for it on the YouTube search bar, it would appear, and YES under her channel name... but if I searched in HER channel (in the actual search bar) it would not appear... i mean... WTH is going on?!?!?!?! This pisses me off so much!!!!

Another thing that has been pissing me off is that I've tried to open an AdSense account to this blog or for my YouTube account, and it has been disaproved because they say the link is not working, and in the e-mail where they say that, they say to solve the problem before I resubmit the application... So I sign in to repeat the steps... and when I TRY to change the link...SURPRISE!!!! You cannot change the link, because there's NO WAY TO FREAKIN' DO IT!!!! And the best part is yet to come!!!! There's no contact info to contact the staff for help! only the troubleshoot that is a good for nothing, because they do not mention the problem I'm having ANYWHERE! And in the forum, where people try to help each other out (since the Google staff could not give a crap about their users' problems) the only answer I got was that I needed to create another google account and then apply with that new google account... The problem IS that when I did that, and tried to do the application (first for YT then for Blogger) I got the notification (not allowing to proceed with it) that if I wanted an AdSense account for YT/Blogger that I should apply for it directly from their servers (YT/Blogger). And I thought...ok, since this is a new Google Account, I'll need to try and change my e-mail on YT and Blogger to make this work....... and GUESS WHAT?!?!? There's no way i can do that!!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (rage laugh) I cannot change the URL in the first application I did, and I cannot ask for an AdSense account to another Google account and try to connect it to this blog or to my channel because I have to make the appplication directly from the servers... and both my YT channel and this Blog are connected to my Google Account that wasn't approved due to some error in th URL, that I'm not allowed to change for some reason that I'm not aware of... (if some of you guys know how to go around this problem, PLEASE do tell me how, because I'm freaking out with this...).

So yeah... that sums it up....
I'll go back to what I was doing....
