Como definir preços dos vossos serviços de Unhas e Maquilhagem

Olá meus doces!!!

Ontem fiz um video para as meninas e meninos que estão a começar a trabalhar na área de maquilhagem e unhas, e têm dúvidas sobre como definir os preços a cobrar pelos serviços que vão prestar.

É uma situação em que já me encontrei, e por isso respondo às coisas mais básicas e importantes a ter em conta no momento de fazer a tabela de preços.

Se tiverem mais dúvidas não hesitem em colocá-las ou aqui ou no vídeo, e eu irei responder mal possa, ou se as perguntas forem muitas, junto-as para um vídeo.

Desafios, Room Tour e Unhas de Outono!!

Olá meus Amores!!!

Hoje o dia foi repleto! Tenho um video room tour e colecção de maquilhagem e unhas para vocês no meu canal!!! Frequíssimo!!!

E hoje saiu também um vídeo que fiz para o canal da comunidade da qual faço parte que é a comunidade Kandesa, que convido a visitarem e subscreverem! E portanto, fiz um vídeo de unhas de outono/inverno :) Muito giras e fofas, mas dentro de um estilo...vá, clássico. ;)

E para finalizar o dia cumpri um desafio que foi lançado pela Verónica Figueiredo, que foi recriar um look da @indefinitemua. E eu, apesar de o desafio não ser directamente para mim, aceitei-o na hora, e este foi o resultado!

Foi uma loucura fazê-lo! Super divertido! Adorei mesmo! Caso queiram vê-lo em tutorial digam-me ;)
Estou a planear fazer umas unhas para condizer com esta maquilhagem, o que acham?

Novidades - News

Olá a todas(os)!!!

Primeiro de tudo, peço desculpa pela minha ausência neste blog...
A minha vida tem sido um turbilhão desde que comecei a trabalhar no SPA que referi no post anterior.
Infelizmente as coisas pareciam boas demais para ser verdade.... E foi preciso eu adoecer e ficar no hospital, e sair de lá com outro problema para ver isso. Óbvio que nenhum patrão gosta de ter os seus empregados de baixa por tempo indefinido, né? Mas não vai tentar arranjar caos (e no meu caso, há caos)... Eu ainda antes de ficar doente já tinha visto e passado por coisas que me fizeram perceber que eu não pertencia ali (e as minha colegas faziam questão de me fazer sentir isso). Mas então no que se referia a principios morais de trabalho...isso é que me dava a volta... porque ali não existe isso... Elas olham para as clientes como se fossem bilhetes de lotaria premiados... E eu odeio isso! Não falam com as clientes, nem tentam sequer criar um laço com elas.. E pior é que há situações referentes a higiene ali que me faz questionar como raio é que aquele sitio está aberto!

À parte disso e de outras coisas que nem vale a pena mencionar (pelo menos enquanto não resolver isto tudo), devido ao problema que me causaram no hospital, estou em casa, com um braço (o dito problema) que não aguenta esforços nenhuns sem que me cause dores. E lá vou fazendo um ou outro video sempre que consigo. Óbvio que apesar do tempo que tenho, nem sempre o meu corpo está no seu melhor para me permitir gravar e editar os meus videos. E por isso vos peço desculpas :(

Por hoje o post fica por aqui, já que só vos queria deixar um pouco mais a par do que se anda a passar.
E em principio a partir de hoje, vou começar a usar o blog como era suposto inicialmente: para colocar fotos e listas dos produtos usados em cada video. Até lá espero que tenham paciência comigo <3

Hey everyone!!!

First of all, I'm so sorry for my absence in here...
My life has been a true hurricane ever since I started working at the SPA I told you about on the previous post.
Unfortunately, things seemed too good to be true... And I needed to fall ill and get hospitalized, and then leaving there with another problem to see that. Obviously, there's not boss in the world that likes to have his/her employers on medical leave for an undetermined time, right? But the boss will not try to cause chaos (and in my case, there's chaos). Even before I got sick I had already seen and felt that I didn't belong there (and my co-workers made sure I felt that way). But when it came to moral and work principles...now that turned my insides...because that does not exist there. They look at clients as if they're winning lottery tickets... And I hate that. They don't talk to the client, nor create some kind of bond... nothing! And there are stuff, regarding hygiene in there makes me wonder how is it possible that that place got to open in the first place.

Asides from that and other this that are not worth referring (at least not while I haven't solved everything), due to the problem that the hospital caused upon me, I'm at home, with an arm (the said problem) that cannot support any kind of effort (strenght, movements, holding objects) without causing me pain. I keep on doing a video every once in a while, if my arm allows me to. But obviously, even though I've got plenty of time, my body (arm specifically) is not always on it's best to allow me to film and edit my videos. And for that I'm am very sorry everyone.

And the post will end here today, since I only wanted to keep you up to date on what's going on.
Hopefully in the future I will be using this blog for it's inicial purpose, wich was to post fotos and lists of the products I use on my videos. Until then, please be patient with me. <3

(ღ˘⌣˘ღ) Got a job at a SPA & About my YouTube Videos

First of all... YAY for me for getting a job at a SPA!!! Weeeeeeee!!!!! *runs around jumping and laughing of happiness*

So yeah! I got a job literally out of nowhere! Started a few days ago, and I'm super happy about it! It's what I wanted to do, it's my area, and I'm doing what I love. It's a great place, really well situated in the center of the city, with awesome people working there, and the owner is the sweetest and kindes person you'll find! Very understanding and someone with LOADS of good Karma for sure!!! She helps everyone that wants to work for her! It's really great! And I can't thank her enough for the opportunity she gave me!!!
I'm really soooooooooooooooo excited!!! I'm finally feeling that my life is starting to come along and getting better each day!
I can finally lay my projects on the table and start lining up what to do next! WEEEEEEEE!

Anyhow! Regarding my YouTube videos! Before I got the job (or even known that I would get a job at all) I decided that I would have my videos up every wednesdays and fridays. So hopefully with a full time job I'll still be able to keep up with the schedule I made, with new videos every wednesdays and fridays. So cheer on me!

HI SUGARCUBES!!!!!

Yay! Lol, ok, calm down.
So today will be another rambling post, as usual, since it's mostly what I use this blog for... And I wanted to ask you guys what you tought of the lighting of my last video on youtube (the argyle nails). Dows it look better? Brighter? I used new lamps (cool daylight or so they said) for that video, and I've also used them for the next upcoming video, that will be a makeup one. I also recently got a new microphone (my sweet boyfriend gave it to me), and I've just used it for the upcoming makeup tutorial, so I hope it sounds better than the last one (I'll be waiting for your response on that everyone!).

Also, I've finally got the hang of After Effects, so now I work well enough with it to play a little more with editing my intros and such. Do you have any suggestions? (♥ω♥ ) ~♪

So anyways!
I'll leave you here my latest tutorial! And I'll wait for your suggestions and opinions on the lighting and editing of the video (constructive criticism please!!!)

New makeup tutorial

Hey guys!!!

Here's my latest makeup tutorial, made specifically for Valentine's Day.

This baby here took me a lot longer to edit for quite an amount of reasons... One of the main reasons being that I wanted to create an intro similar to a Youtube Guru (Wengie), that does the most adorable beauty videos, and she inspired me to do intros like that, and also an animated logo for myself. So thanks to that I got in a whole bunch of a work.
Then the problems with filming an editing started... the first time I recorded it, the files got corrupted while editing... Second time, I decided I should go for a green screen background, but the lighting and the camera didn't work so well, and the green turned yellow-ish, and so did my skin, so when I edited it the program could not differenciate the green background from my skin, and so parts of my skin would turn into the masked background... Meh, it's shucks I know.
Then the third time I recorded the same tutorial I tried a better green screen, new placing and better lighting... Still, no good came out of it...and all the yellowing happened again. I was about to give up seriously..
I finally got the strenght back up on the next day to film it again. I gave up on the green screen, and simply focused on making good use of a blank white wall, natural lighting that I had that day (here it's very rare to have a sunny day like that) and good artificial lighting that I had around the house (still needs some tweaks but I'll get there soon hopefully - looks wishfully at the previous blog post). And I got it filmed. It wasn't perfect due to the fact that the camera doesn't have the best auto-focus in the world, so most of the close-up footage is blurry... But it was manageable/acceptable to work with.
Then I got the HELL-of-a-pain-in-the-ass-work of editing the video, creating the effects, intro and logo on After Effects while working on Premiere at the same time... Phew, that was a huge headache for me... I never did something like that on AE... Hell! All I ever did on AE was a simple text with falling flowers with pre-done effects... So this was not only hard work, but hours of research of good AE tutorials, and a bunch of failures... BUT I did it!!! I did it ALL by myself! I didn't use a template, nor a loop background resource! Damn I'm proud of myself or what?!?!? Lol. I think you can even notice in my voice over (if you compare to the other videos I did) that my voice is more... bubbly? lol.

SOOOoooooooooooooooooooo....!

So this time I'm comming here just to ramble about two things that I REALLY want to have right now...
First I'll explain the reason, then I'll say what I want! ლ(⌒▽⌒ლ)

So I've been trying to invest more time and learning new skills for my videos on YouTube lately, meaning I realized I don't have a good background and lighting nor a good camera...
The background is too distracting because there are too many things there (yeah I could clean it up if I had a bigger house to do so... unfortuantely I don't), and the lighting is too yellowing and weak... Not to mention the camera, that not matter what I do is always changing my skin color. And it's automatic white balance option is even worse than any other option it has... {{p´Д｀q}}

So, what I'm saying is, I found a nice kit of studio lighting here ->

And I'm here wishing really hard that someone kind enough will help me achieve these two babies ∪･ω･∪
